New Native Plants to be Planted (Salal, Sword Fern and Yellow Violet)
Propagating Tree Collard

The second difficult problem chosen by my eldest daughter (the first was watermelon). Cauliflower. I grew them from seeds in the spring and finally harvested it in the fall. I planted about 15 seeds and only 5 survived. And only one of them has fruited. Winning rate is low! Actually, I had given up on it because I thought all didn’t fruit because it took so long to produce fruit, but I was thinking that the leaves were starting to curl, then I noticed that fruit was forming inside. Harvested cauliflower is about the same size as the one you buy at the store. The taste is also cauliflower. When I cooked it immediately after harvesting, it tasted better and had less of the characteristic cruciferous odor.
