In the meantime, my MacBook died on me😢 I took it to an Apple Store, but they couldn’t fix it. They couldn’t even turn it on…and I was also told that it is too old to service…

その間にマックが壊れてしまいました😢 アップルストアに持って行ったんですが、直りませんでした。電源すら入らず。。。しかも古すぎてサービスできないって言われ。。。

Still, I couldn’t give it up, so I took it to a Repair Fair. Richard, a fixpert, could not fix it at that time, but he said he would try at home…He found a cheap parts, but before I decided to go for it, it got too expensive. He is keeping an eye on the price for me. Let’s see…

諦めきれずにリペアフェアに持って行きました。フィクスパート(リペアスペシャリスト)のリチャードがその場では直せなかったんですが、うちに持って帰ってトライしてくれるとのこと。その時は安い部品があったんですが、そうこうしているうちに高くなったので保留中。どうなることやら。

Repair Fair is a popular event in Portland Metropolitan Area. I volunteer sometimes as a fixpert ( I am a seamstress) too. If you have anything to have fixed, just bring it in😉 We fix it for free.
