🚌🚃 2 hours 15 minutes: mentally impossible to spend this much time for commuting (wth, it takes as much time as bicycle!) 精神的にこんあに通勤に時間かけれない(なんで自転車と同じくらい時間かかるのよ！)

🚗 50 minutes: possible 可能

🏍️ 50 minutes: not trained 教習受けてない

🚢 n/a: geographically impossible 地理的に無理

Hence, car is the only commuting option for me. というわけで車通勤だけが残りました。

Who would choose 1-4 now? We are at 1.5 degrees Celsius. No more warming the planet, please.

いまさら1−4の選択肢はないでしょう。もう1.5度にきてしまったんですから。これ以上地球温暖化しなくていいでしょ。

EV has been on the market for 15 years. EV has more advantage than disadvantage.

Zero emission: no NOx, SOx (pollutants)
No evil gasoline use: for electrify, choose renewable option.
Quiet: both inside and outside
No oil change
THIS IS THE BEST‼️NO TRIP TO GAS STATIONS🎉

電気自動車は15年の販売実績があります。欠点より利点の方が多いですし。

忌々しいガソリン不使用:電気は再生エネルギーの購入を選択
静か:車外も車内も
オイルチェンジしなくていい
これが一番‼️ガソリンスタンドに行かなくていい🎉

If you say…

-It is expensive: please do the math. think about fuel saving, low maintenance cost, no DEQ cost ( and waiting), tax credit (until Sep. 30), less cost to the environment which is not included into the price of cars, there are lots of used EVs available, too.

-I don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere: how often do you travel to the middle of nowhere? Rent a car for that trip.

-I don’t want to get stuck no matter what: what are you talking about? AAA will help you for any car you have (They charge your EV to get to the nearest charging station).

-EV doesn’t have enough range: EV’s range depends on the model. Tesla Model S 400 miles, Lucid Air Grand Touring over 500 miles. That is well over regular gas range.

こう言われたら、、、

-高い: 計算して下さいね。燃料費の節約、メンテナンスの節約、DEQ(Oregon Department of Environmental Qualuty)の費用はないですし、環境への負担(車の値段に入っていない)が少ない。中古車もたくさん出回ってます(アメリカで中古車を買うのは当たり前)。

-何もないところで立ち往生したくない: 何もない所にどれだけ行くの？その様な旅行にはレンタカーで行ってください。

-とにかく立ち往生したくない: よくわからないけど、そういう時のためにAAAがあるんですよ。電気自動車で燃料切れになってもチャージしに来てくれます。

-電気自動車だと遠くに行けないし: 一回のチャージで行ける距離はモデルによって違います。テスラモデルSだと400マイル、Lucid Air Grand Touringだと500マイル以上一回のチャージで走行できます。普通のガソリン車より全然遠くまで行けますね。
