どうしちゃったんでしょうか？

うちの赤い椿ちゃん、なんだか去年から元気がありません。去年、葉が黄色くなって結構落ちてしまい、今年は一部茶色くなってます。そして、葉っぱがいっぱい落ちて、スカスカ。植えてから14年経っているのに、ここで枯らしてしまっては申し訳ない。

What happened?

My red Camellia has not been doing well since last year. Last year, lots of leaves turned yellow and fell off, and this year they got brown patches. And a lot of leaves are falling, and it looks sparse. It’s been 14 years since I
planted it, and I’m sorry if it dies now.

＜考えられる原因＞

• 去年行った強剪定
• 肥料のあげすぎ
• モグラに根っこを荒らされた
• 異常気象（寒くて雨の多かった春、夏の高温、冬の低温）

<Possible cause>

• Hard pruning last year
• Too much fertilizer
• Roots destroyed by moles
• Extreme weather (cold and wet spring, hot summer, cold winter)

どうしたもんかなぁ。つい肥料をあげてしまったけど、どうやら弱っている植物には肥料をあげてはいけないらしい。。。とりあえず、水やりだけ適宜して様子見かなぁ。

I don’t know what to do. I accidentally gave them fertilizer, but it seems I shouldn’t have given fertilizer to weak guy. . . For the time being, I wonder if I’ll just water it properly and see how it goes.
